Performing core network service installation

In this post we will be installing our core network service the  active directory Which will also setup our DNS server First we will need to go to Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network Connections to Find our network adapter to configure our IP Then we right click on our adapter and go to properties and find Internet Version Protocol IPv4 then Click on properties and switch from automatic IP to use the following IP to configure a static IP Use run to execute dcpromo.exe to promote the system to a active directory, you will be greeted with the following setup wizard below. After Selecting next you will be brought to this screen below to set your root forest domain for the server. Then It will check if its available. You will be taken to this screen next where you will set your forest function level I choose server 2003 in this tutorial You will be prompt for additional domain controller options make sure DNS server is checked here for it to be inst

Installation of N.O.S(Network Operating System)

This is a Simple tutorial showing how to install a network operating system. I did my installation in Oracle virtual box so you will need to create a virtual machine an mount the installation iso in the storage settings. Step one Select your language Then hit next Step 2 Click on Install now Step 3 Select the which version you want in my installation i selected standard full installation Step 4 select custom and create your partitions for your installation Step 5 Select your main partition and click next Wait and let setup run its course. After  a few reboots you will be prompt to click ok and create a strong password it requires Upper and lower case letters with a mix of symbols and numbers. After the password creation you will be logged in to your new windows server installation
